Serving Miami and all of South Florida

Two offices, one team, and clients from Homestead to Fort Lauderdale.

Financial analysis in South Florida has to account for seasonality: winter visitors lift revenue for hospitality, retail and many services from Miami Beach to Fort Lauderdale, while summer and hurricane months can be thin. Rent in Miami-Dade and Broward has risen faster than many owners' pricing, so margin analysis often reveals that a location that felt busy is barely covering occupancy costs. We also work with import and export companies in Doral and Medley whose margins swing with freight costs and exchange rates, where a month-by-month view matters more than an annual average.

Visits are by appointment. Most of the work can also be done remotely.

Frequently asked questions

Straight answers about this service. For anything else, call us or ask the assistant.

How is this different from the financial statements I already get?

Statements tell you what happened. Analysis explains why, compares it with prior periods and your plans, and points to specific decisions. We build on your statements rather than replacing them.

What does financial analysis for small business in Miami include?

Margins by product, service, location or customer type, a cash flow projection built on your real collection and payment patterns, and a comparison of costs such as rent, labor and merchant fees against your own history. It ends in a working session where we go through the findings and agree on the metrics to follow next period.

Do I need clean books before starting?

Yes, at least for the periods we will analyze, because conclusions drawn from unreconciled numbers can point you in the wrong direction. If your books need work we do that first through our bookkeeping services and then move to analysis.

Can you tell me which of my locations or products is actually profitable?

That is one of the most common questions we get from owners with two or three locations in Miami-Dade and Broward. We separate revenue and direct costs by location or line, allocate shared costs in a way that makes sense for your business and show you where the margin really comes from. Owners are often surprised by which one it is.

How do I know if my cash flow supports a new hire or a second shift?

We project cash month by month using your actual collection delays, payment terms and seasonality, then add the hire or the shift as a scenario. South Florida seasonality matters here: a decision that looks fine in March can strain cash in September. You see the result before you commit.

How much does financial analysis cost and how long does it take?

It depends on the questions you want answered, how many locations or lines are involved and the condition of your books. A single question about pricing is a small engagement; a multi-location review with a projection is a larger one. We define the scope together in the first conversation.

What does a typical engagement look like?

A typical financial analysis for small business in Miami starts by agreeing on the questions you want answered; we then gather your data, prepare the analysis and meet with you to go through it. Many clients continue with a quarterly review so decisions are checked against results, and the findings often feed into corporate tax planning for the same year.

Can the analysis be done remotely and explained in Spanish?

Yes. We work from your accounting file and statements remotely and hold the review session by video or by appointment at our Palmetto Bay or Sunrise office, in Spanish or English. Owners who manage a Florida business from abroad receive the same session online.
