Serving Miami and all of South Florida

Two offices, one team, and clients from Homestead to Fort Lauderdale.

Reconciliation matters in South Florida because payment flows here are fragmented: a single Miami restaurant may receive card settlements, delivery-app deposits, Zelle transfers and cash within the same week, and each arrives net of different fees. Businesses that bill clients abroad often see wire transfers arrive short of the invoice because of intermediary bank charges, which shows up as a mismatch until it is explained. After a storm closure, reconciliation is also how owners in Homestead or Fort Lauderdale confirm which insurance and relief deposits actually hit the account.

Visits are by appointment. Most of the work can also be done remotely.

Frequently asked questions

Straight answers about this service. For anything else, call us or ask the assistant.

What is a bank reconciliation and why does it matter?

It is the monthly comparison of every line on your bank, card and merchant statements against your books, with each difference explained and corrected. Without it, a balance in your software is only an estimate. Lenders, tax preparers and partners in South Florida rely on reconciled books precisely because the numbers have been checked against the bank.

Why does my accounting software balance not match my bank?

Usually because of unrecorded fees, duplicated imports, deposits recorded gross while the bank received them net, or checks still outstanding. Reconciliation identifies each cause and corrects the books rather than forcing the numbers to agree.

How often should accounts be reconciled?

Monthly is the standard rhythm, because that is how statements arrive and how errors stay small enough to trace. Businesses with heavy card or cash volume sometimes benefit from a weekly check on the main operating account.

What do I need to provide?

Statements or read-only access for every bank, card, loan and merchant account, plus access to your accounting file. If you keep a separate record of cash sales or petty cash, bring that as well.

Do bank reconciliation services in Miami cover cards, processors and delivery apps?

Yes. A Miami restaurant or shop typically receives card settlements, delivery-app payouts, Zelle transfers and cash, each net of different charges, and all of them have to tie to the books. We reconcile every account that moves money, not only the checking account, and post the fees and holdbacks that were never recorded.

My accounts have not been reconciled in months or years. Can you catch up?

Yes. We reconcile period by period from the last clean month, document each adjustment and hand you a report per account. When the underlying records are also behind, we pair it with bookkeeping services so the cleanup does not have to be repeated.

How much do bank reconciliation services in Miami cost and how long do they take?

It depends on the number of accounts, the monthly volume of transactions and how many periods are behind. A single operating account with a few hundred lines is a different job from six accounts across several properties in Pembroke Pines. We look at your statements in the first conversation and tell you what your case involves.

Can the reconciliation be done remotely, and in Spanish?

Yes. Read-only bank access or exported statements let us do the whole reconciliation remotely, and we review the report with you by video or by appointment at our Palmetto Bay or Sunrise office, in Spanish or English. Reconciled accounts are also the base for accurate financial statements.
